CRISPR

The CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) and CRISPR-associated (Cas) genes denoted as the CRISPR/Cas9 system is a targeted gene-editing tool adapted from Streptococcus pygogenes that can be used to permanently knock out target genes. A guide RNA (sgRNA or gRNA) directs the Cas9 nuclease to a specific genomic region upon which Cas9 cleaves the target gene, permanently knocking it out.

Cellecta has developed effective, time-saving tools for functional gene analysis using CRISPR technology. Below is an overview of our CRISPR product line.
