Product Information

Third-generation replication-incompetent packaged lentivirus carrying a reporter expressing green fluorescent protein (copGFP, ex. 482 nm, em. 502 nm). The viral particles are pseudotyped with the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) B.1.1.7 (20I/501Y.V1, Alpha VI) spike protein variant which recognizes and binds to the Ace2 cell surface receptor to mediate coronavirus cell entry.

This product enables investigators to run neutralization assays and related studies that investigate factors which influence spike recognition and binding to target cells in BSL-2 laboratories.
