Advancements in TCR / BCR repertoire profiling and other approaches for drug target and biomarker discovery
Monday, May 5 from 12:00 - 12:45 at AAI booth 523 theatre area
Overview of Cellecta Technologies will be provided by Paul Diehl, PhD, Cellecta COO
Presenter 1: Alex Chenchik, PhD, Cellecta President & Chief Scientific Officer
A practical guide for adaptive immune receptor repertoire profiling and the characterization of antigen-induced clonotypes with applications in vaccine development, autoimmunity, and cancer
Presenter 2: Andrei Gudkov, PhD, DSci Professor of Oncology, Chair, Dept of Cell Stress Biology at Roswell Park Cancer Center
Qualitative assessment of the quality of immune response by analyzing B- and T-cell clonotypes
- Immunosenescence—the age-related decline in immune function—significantly impacts healthspan by increasing susceptibility to infections, reducing vaccine responsiveness, and elevating cancer risk in the elderly.
- We discovered that systemic stimulation of TLR5, a key component of the innate immune system, using TLR5 agonists (derived from bacterial flagellin), can enhance vaccine responses in both aged mice and humans.
- B- and T-cell clonotype profiling (via Cellecta’s DriverMap™ AIR TCR-BCR platform) and single-cell RNA sequencing revealed insights into the mechanisms by which TLR5 stimulation exerts its rejuvenating effects on immunity.
