Transcriptome Profiling and Functional Screening to Identify Genes Driving Biological Responses and Disease Progression

• Labeling individual cells with unique barcodes detectable by both NGS and RNA sequencing provides a way to identify cell subpopulations and track fractions of cells experiencing phenotypic changes such as activation or differentiation
• Transduced populations can then be analyzed by NGS to identify subsets of cells with specific traits or phenotypic responses
• NGS analysis of targeted multiplex RT-PCR from cell samples, down to single-cell levels, enables parallel analysis of differences in gene activation
