Talk: Single-Cell Functional Genomics
Novel methods for profiling clonal composition and phenotypes of primary and metastatic lesions at the single-cell level are required for understanding mechanisms of actions for drug discovery and development. To facilitate these studies, we have developed a series of tools including barcode libraries which when used with genetic effector libraries can give insights into specific genetic disruptions in progeny cells derived from a single progenitor cell. This, combined with expression profiling at a single-cell level could significantly improve phenotyping of distinct cell populations.
