Product Information

Third-generation replication-incompetent packaged lentivirus carrying the luciferase reporter gene. The viral particles are pseudotyped with the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) B.1.1.529 (Omicron) spike protein variant which recognizes and binds to the Ace2 cell surface receptor to mediate coronavirus cell entry.

With this product investigators can run neutralization assays and related studies that investigate factors which influence spike recognition and binding to target cells in routine BSL-2 laboratories.
