Product Information
Cellecta has designed and produced CRISPR Chicken and Pig Genome-Wide Knockout Libraries to enable convenient, genome-wide dropout viability screens. CRISPR screening of livestock and poultry could be useful in the study of pathogen resistance, improved breeding, and more.
Chicken
With around 69,000 constructs, the CRISPR chicken (Gallus gallus) library targets all chicken protein-coding genes (~17,000) with approximately four sgRNAs/gene.
Genome-Wide Coverage with a Single 69K Module, with ~69,000 constructs
Each gene is covered by around four sgRNAs
1000 Non-Targeting Controls and 100 Intron-Targeting Controls are also included
All chicken protein-coding genes are covered—approximately 17,000 gene targets
Pig
Cellecta's CRISPR Pig (Sus scrofa) Genome-Wide Knockout Library contains around 89,000 constructs, and targets all pig protein-coding genes (~22,000) with approximately four sgRNAs/gene.
Genome-Wide Coverage with a Single 89K Module–a single library with ~89,000 constructs
Each gene is covered by around four sgRNAs
1000 Non-Targeting Controls and 100 Intron-Targeting Controls are also included
All pig protein-coding genes covered—approximately 22,000 gene targets
In addition to providing a variety of products useful for CRISPR screening, we also run CRISPR screens as a service.
